Two Syngenta Travel Awards are presented each year, one to a M.Sc. candidate and one to a Ph.D. candidate. Each award consists of a monetary award to enable deserving graduate students to attend the CWSS-SCM annual meeting.

Monsanto Student Award Winners

Two Monsanto Canada Scholarships in Weed Science are awarded each year, one to a M.Sc. candidate and one to a Ph.D. candidate. The winners will receive a scholarship plus travel and hotel expenses, registration fee, and other reasonable expenses for attending the CWSS-SCM annual meeting.

Dow AgroSciences Student Travel Award Winners

Two Dow AgroSciences Student Travel Awards are presented each year, one to a M.Sc. candidate and one to a Ph.D. candidate. Each award consists of an award to enable deserving graduate students to attend the CWSS-SCM annual meeting. Eligible expenses include registration fees, meals, accommodations and transportation.

The CWSS-SCM Outstanding Industry Member Award is to recognize excellent leadership and contributions to weed management in Canada by CWSS-SCM Industry members.

CWSS SCM Excellence in Weed Science Award Winners

The Excellence in Weed Science Award recognizes excellence among active scientists, educators, regulatory and extension personnel in the area of weed science in Canada. Their contributions must be judged to have had a major impact on weed science or the agricultural industry in Canada. The award is sponsored by Dow AgroSciences.

BASF Canada Best Poster Award Winners

The BASF Canada Best Poster Award is to recognize the best poster presented at the CWSS-SCM annual meeting. All posters presented by members of the CWSS-SCM are automatically eligible for this award. The winning posters are selected by a panel of judges chosen by the Local Arrangements Committee. The award consists of a cash prize and a plaque presented to the senior author.

Bayer CropScience Best Student Presentation Award Winners

The Bayer CropScience Best Student Presentation award is given in recognition of the best student oral presentation at the CWSS-SCM annual meeting. All CWSS-SCM student members giving an oral presentation are automatically considered for this award. The winning presentation is selected by a panel of judges appointed by the Local Arrangements Committee.
